Job Description The Seasonal Golf Starter will be responsible for providing the highest level of guest service, while maintaining the golf car fleet, staging area, and practice facility in an appealing manner.
Responsible for controlling the tee sheet while keeping good records of actual times, cart numbers and rental set agreements.
ResponsibilitiesEnthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if possible)Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcomeDisplay conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels Utilize a working knowledge of club operations Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.
Perform duties and meet requirements for tournaments, club rentals and services which the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals deems necessary.
Promote the interests of the resort in providing service to the guest.
Provide a guest friendly environmentCoordinate the golf guest on-course experience while maintaining a positive memorable experience during their round(s) of golf and hotel stay.
HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to operate the hand-held radio communication device Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow staff members, valet and bell staff Must be knowledgeable in trail access locations, bike rentals and appropriate fishing locationsMARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
