Speech Language Pathologist - SLP

o Improves the function of patients with speech, language, voice and/or swallowing impairments by planning treatment; conducting remedial programs.
o Visually and aurally observes and assesses the patient.
o Enhances speech pathology reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
o Assesses changes in the patient's status and determine whether the treatment options should be modified, performing a re-evaluation and obtaining revision orders as indicated.
o Coordinates with participating members of the health care team, the patient, and the family/caregivers regarding progress toward goals.
